This is the fourth SOPA presentation of some of the Talking Heads solo pieces by Alan Bennett. This year it is " Nights in the Gardens of Spain" performed by Nest Lewis and "Soldiering On", performed by Colleen Elson.

Talking Heads is an award-winning series of solo pieces showing Bennett's  combination of razor sharp wit and deeply felt humanity. Some of these pieces have been performed both on BBC television and on stage. These extraordinary portraits of ordinary people confirm Bennett's place as one of the most gifted, versatile and important writers in the English language.

NEST LEWIS  has performed in Alan Bennett's "Bed Among The Lentils" and "Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet" in previous SOPA presentations. Nest has had much acclaim for her performances, not only in SOPA, but in the many roles she has played over the past forty years. Her last major appearance was in " On Golden Pond".

COLLEEN ELSON was last seen in "Waiting for the Telegram", another of Bennett's solo pieces.  Her other "Talking Heads" appearances were in "Lady of Letters" and "A Cream Cracker Under the Settee". Colleen is the founder of C.E. Productions.
